Aoi ag Bord na Teanga

This anthology comprises of a selection of poems from seven poetry collections, as well as new poems, that give an overview of Celia de Fréine’s poetic journey over the last twenty years.

The anthology covers a wide range of subjects, many of which are widely discussed at the moment. The poems deal with country life as well as city life and they move from subject to subject to tell her story in a strong voice that has social awareness at its core.
