The title story is a darkly satirical tale – in a country where the consumption of meat, fish and poultry are banned by a political party not unlike our own Green Party, people resort to eating each other. This collection won the first prize in the Oireachtas na Gaeilge Literary Awards 2009 for a collection of new short stories.
