Gearóid Willie Ó Fatharta – Mo Scéal Féin

The author is originally from Cois Fharraige in southern Conamara and spent years on the missions in South America, particularly Chile and Brazil.

As he stood by communities suffering from poverty, drugs, and violence, his commitment to justice often brought him into conflict with the authorities.

This is the story of his life from his youth and his calling to the priesthood, to the moment he chose to leave that vocation and begin a new chapter as a husband and father.
