Donations will be presented to Conradh na Gaeilge once a threshold of €50 has been met, or every six months, whichever happens first.

The main purpose of the Charity:

To re-establish Irish as the common language of Ireland and act in pursuit of this aim by, among other things: increasing the number of Irish speakers; increase the number of families raising children through Irish; enhance the de jure and de facto status of the Irish language in Ireland and abroad; ensuring the availability of all supports, services and facilities for living through Irish in Ireland; increase the number of organisations, the number of institutions, the number of education and training institutions, the number of businesses and the number of events that operate through Irish; uphold the dominance of Irish as the language of the community in the Gaeltacht areas and establish new Gaeltacht communities; lobby for the Irish language; to represent Irish speakers.
